From dannyconner at reptileadventures.net Mon Oct 5 16:11:13 2009 From: dannyconner at reptileadventures.net (dannyconner@reptileadventures) Date: Mon, 05 Oct 2009 14:11:13 -0000 Subject: CROCLIST: TAG meeting Message-ID: <869EE83FF6584298A10EBA1258CC52E2@DannyConnerPC> I'm told that the TAG meeting in San Antonio has already passed. CLEARLY this list is NOT the portal of croc information that I had hoped it would be. For anyone that is remotely involved with the promotion of this meeting I have a question. Was this a fundraiser? Was this event open to the public? Last years Raleigh show was way more advertised than this. I live 75 miles west of San Antonio. I saw nothing on local channels. I've been a member of this Croclist for years. I have 30 crocs(10 different species) Noone in TX comes close to having the diverse collection I have. Yet I heard nothing about this meeting. Very disappointed. Danny Conner -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... They have been breeding for several years, but the number of clutches are going down as is the fertility within these clutches (fertility determied by candling). During a water sampling session, we noticed significately high phosphate and nitrate values, especially following heavy rains. Is there any link between these two minerals and infertility that anyone knows off (crocs aside, even). Help much appreciated, Cheers Nik -- Nikhil Whitaker Curator, Madras Crocodile Bank Trust P.O.
